Our Story
Welcome to NCGH
Nepal Christian Guest House sits in Lalitpur (Patan) — away from the hustle and bustle of central Kathmandu, yet only about 5 km from Tribhuvan International Airport (a 20–30 minute drive by taxi, depending on traffic) and 2.6 km from Patan Durbar Square. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, and Swayambhu Temple are all within a short taxi ride.
Lalitpur is one of Nepal's historic cities, where residents enjoy quiet, traditional living without giving up modern comforts. Our guest house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped — warm rooms, good food, and everything you need for a restful stay.
The guest house is run personally by its owners, Bikram and Preeti, on-site since 2009. Showers are heated by both solar and gas — reliable hot water even during power cuts — and Preeti's home-style breakfast is a guest favourite. Preeti also has a medical background, and if you're unwell the owners will help with a pharmacy run, reaching a doctor, or transport in an emergency. The small things that guests, from solo travelers to mission and study teams, mention again and again.
